Dear devotee,
As you know, the Chottanikkara Bhagavathy
Temple is a Major Temple in Kerala and
it is very famous both in India and Abroad.
Here the Goddess Adhiparasakthi depicts
her powers and blessings in the form of
Saraswathy, Lakshmi and Durga in early
morning, morning to noon and evening respectively.
Since it has become one of the most important
pilgrims centre. Lakhs of devotees seek
her blessings every year. During Mandalam
season, Makam and Navarathri the rush
is heavy. Often the devotees stay here
for conducting Bhajanam so as to heal
their mental and physical ailments. They
go satisfied after conducting the Bhajanam.
The devotees also get redressed their
grievance of delay in getting married
and have no children. The rush will be
greater during vacations.
But during the Summer from March to June,
there is scarcity of water here and often
the Devaswom lodges are to be kept closed
and therefore the devotees are put to
much hardship.
In order to solve this acute problem,
we have launched a Water Augmentation
Project. The first phase of which has
already been completed. The total cost
of the project comes to nearly 50 lakhs.
