Mandala Maholsavam - Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple -2008
The Mandalamaholsavam in Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple, this year will be celebrated from 16th November 2008 to 14th January 2009. The Thrikkarthika (Holy Birthday of Devi) is on 11th December 2008. The Rohini and Makayiram are on 12th December and 13th December respectively. The Laksharchana will also be performed on this period. Lakshadeepam will be conducted on 14th January 2009 ie Makaram 1

Special Arrangements
Special Arrangements are being made to uninterrupted supply of water and electricity during the time. More security staff and Police will be in the temple to control the crowd.
Important Days
The Thrikkarthika(Holy Birthday of Amma) falls on December 11. The Rohini and Makayiram (ie Dec12th and Dec13th)are also important Days. The Lakshadeepam will be conducted on Makaram 1 (January 14th).
To the devotees
Annadanam (Prasada Oottu), Ashtadravyaganapathy homam, Niaramala Vilakkuveyppu, Rudrabhishekam, Laksharchana and other cultural programmes will also be performed during this time. The rate for Mandala Annadhanam is Rs. 20,000/- and Ashtadravya Ganapathy homam is Rs. 190/. Advance booking for Annadhanam and Ashtadravyaganapathy homam have been started.
